WELCOME TO SEGUNDO MUELLE


Segundo Muelle’s story starts in a small garage in San Isidro, Lima. In a space of about 40 m2 and with only 4 tables, the restaurant strove to survive. Daniel Manrique W., a young college student at that time, had decided to set out on an adventure: opening a restaurant. With a little over 20 years of age and no experience in the restaurant business, he named this first branch Segundo Muelle after the second pear of a beach town called San Bartolo, where he had spent most of his childhood and teenage years.

It was a pretty cramped restaurant nobody knew. However, Daniel’s creativity and specialflavors made a name for Segundo Muelle around Lima. Soon, the opportunity of growing came up. He opened branches inthe most important commercial business areas in Lima: one on Conquistadores Av., one on Canaval y Moreyra Av., one in Miraflores (overlooking the sea) and one on Rivera Navarrete Av. After a few years, Segundo Muelle was already a successful brand, ready to enter international markets.

Today, Segundo Muelle has two international franchises: one in Panama City, Panama and one in Quito, Ecuador; and a domestic franchise located in one of the best shopping centers in Lima, C.C. Plaza San Miguel.

Segundo Muelle is a restaurant chain known for its flavors, freshness and creativity. Its exclusive and innovative recipes combine traditional seafood cooking with a variety of cuisines, such as the Peruvian Creole, Asian and Italian cuisines.
